What is my background?

​​I have been a practising and qualified therapist for more than 20 years, with a varied clinical background in the voluntary sector, therapeutic communities, an addictions service, a prison, GP surgeries and low-fee charities. I have had an established private practice since 2013.

Advanced training

I am undertaking an advanced clinical training in Jungian analytical psychotherapy, accredited by the British Psychoanalytic Council.  I am currently a senior trainee of the Analytical Psychotherapy Training (Birmingham) at the West Midlands Institute of Psychotherapy.

Professional affiliations

I am a member of the West Midlands Institute of Psychotherapy, and an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

I abide by the BACP Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and the British Psychoanalytic Council's Code of Ethics.
